'Crust & Hearth Pizzeria' was born from a vision to introduce real Neapolitan pizza to London. The Moretti family, in 1985, established our small, family-centric pizzeria, keeping true to recipes passed down for generations.
Lucas Moretti, the visionary who founded our brand, mastered the art of pizza crafting during her sojourns across Italy, especially in Naples, the homeland of pizza. When back in the UK, her aim was to replicate the enchanting experience of authentic Italian pizza, employing age-old techniques and the purest ingredients.
Starting as a quaint pizzeria with just 12 seats, we are now a cherished local haunt, yet our dedication to excellence and tradition remains steadfast. Our dough is prepared afresh each day, and we persist in using a classic wood-fired oven, seeking out the best ingredients available.
Currently 'Crust & Hearth Pizzeria' is still within the family, managed by the succeeding Moretti generation, guiding our fervent team. Though we have adopted modern advancements, our core mission is unchanged: to make scrumptious, true pizza that unites people.
